Family lawyer at Outset Law with a strong commitment to advocacy and women's rights, helping clients through some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Family lawyer at Outset Law, committed to advocacy, women's rights, and giving clients the knowledge and strategy to move forward with confidence.
Gurneet began her legal career as an administrative and legal assistant before pursuing a formal legal education. That start gave her a close view of how clients experience the legal process, and it shapes how she works with them.
She studied Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies at Simon Fraser University, where she developed a deep understanding of systemic inequality, gender equity, and social justice. She then earned her Juris Doctor (Honours) from Bond University in Queensland, Australia, where she honed her advocacy skills.
Gurneet recognizes that family law issues often involve deeply personal challenges, financial uncertainty, and significant emotional stress. She takes a client-centred approach, empowering clients through knowledge and strategy at every stage of their matter.
Outside of work, she spends time with her golden retriever and explores Vancouver's food and market scenes.
Gurneet acts for clients in parenting, property and support disputes, and in the agreements that prevent them.
